Budget Bot

A personal Telegram bot that records expenses, income and transfers in your own Google Sheets spreadsheet.

What it does

• You send a short message such as Card - Groceries: 2000, and the bot appends the transaction to your spreadsheet.
• It reads account balances, categories, recent operations and current-month statistics from the same spreadsheet and shows them in Telegram.
• An optional macOS companion app lets you dictate transactions by voice, review them before saving, and edit existing rows.

How Google access is used

To read and write your budget, Budget Bot asks you to sign in with Google and grant access to Google Sheets (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets). The bot only works with the one spreadsheet you choose with the /sheet command. It does not open, list or modify any other files in your Google account.

Budget Bot is a hobby project run by an individual developer for personal use. It is not affiliated with Google or Telegram.
